Once Again, Lagos Senator Solomon Adeola “Yayi” Battles Identity Crisis In Move To Become Ogun Governor

The trouble has refused to go away and has once again bared its fangs at Lagos Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola.

That is the troublesome issue of identity crisis dogging his steps since he started the campaign to transform from a sitting Senator in Lagos state to the next governor of Ogun state.

The allegations against Yayi are simple.

He is not from Ogun state but Ekiti state.

He was formerly known as Sule Ogunleye and not Solomon Adeola.

His accusers claim his records at Guardian Newspaper where he worked in the account departments should confirm allegations against him.

They further alleged he left the employment of the newspaper house where he worked as “Sule Ogunleye” in unhealthy circumstances.

His sympathizers deny all the allegations and attribute it to “bad politics”.

They have consistently denied it since the allegations started sprouting, but the claims refuse to go away.

At best they cooldown and suddenly wake up in another storm.

And thanks to a recent report by Uhurutimes published by Wale Adedayo a seasoned journalist and stakeholder in the politics of the Ogun state, Yayi’s identity crisis is back in a whirlwind of a fury.

“It is on everybody’s lips…like they have not heard of it before and they are feasting heavily on it” a source stated.

The Senator’s handlers are pushing back but it appears there is greater interest in what the allegations are all about societynow learned.

Checks by societynow revealed the reason for this.

The battle to determine the next governor of Ogun state has become very fierce and for Yayi who is a political office holder in Lagos, it’s multiple challenges.

“So the scrutiny he is undergoing should be expected” a source pointed out.
