No Date Fixed As Family Says Majek Fashek Will Be Buried In U.S

It is finally decided.

Reggae legend Majek Fashek will be buried in the United States of America his family has announced.

The extraordinarily gifted musician died in the United States of America on June 1.

And in the face of great pressure from fans that his remains be brought back to Nigeria for a ‘’befitting burial’’, his family has decided otherwise.

Randy, the U.S based son of Randy in a Video yesterday – Monday, August 10, 2020 – says the burial will take place in the United States of America where members of his immediate family are based.

He, however, thanked fans and wells wishers for the show of love and support over the years while explaining that the Covid-19 situation played a major role in the family’s decision to bury his father abroad.

Randy confirmed that the plan is to bury Majek in New York but did provide a date for the burial
