Information filtering in revealed top shots at Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation have gone spiritual and playing dirty to either retain or secure lucrative positions in a looming shake up.

Like starved greyhounds jostling for mouthfuls of fetish sacrifices placed at communal crossroads, some greedy staff of NNPC are currently engaged in a mad quest to retain their positions. So deep is their desperation that they have started seeking spiritual help from all manners of self-styled ‘prophets,’ occultists and fetish priests in bid to keep their positions.

Since the people close to the Minister of Petroleum, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, said there is going to be a major shake-up in NNPC and the petroleum ministry, some of them have resorted to occultism and other forms of spiritual help to save their jobs. Findings revealed that most of them are asking the spiritualists to help them. But if each staff casts a spell on the Minister in order to find favour in his eyes, would it not amount to too much pressure on him?

Uproar pervades their world and consumes their joys like a wild bushfire in harmattan. The principal effects of the decisive overhaul of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNP have cast senior management staff of the corporation and major oil magnates in the country in interminable fear. Many of them live in terror of what new measure may be applied by Kachikwu. When Kachikwu disclosed his resolve to sort out the confusion plaguing the NNPC’s operations and eliminate the massive corruption perpetrated in the corporation, the immediate past management of the corporation promptly stated its readiness for the proposed reform.

There is massive hysteria in the NNPC and outside it’s walls as the company’s staff and major oil magnates doing business with the corporation are currently running helter-skelter to save their hide and their businesses from the tsunami violently coursing through the petroleum sector even as you read. Little wonder some of them are sponsoring negative reports in the media about the family of the Minister.
