Ans, It is gospel music because it is only through this kind of music you can invoke the presence of God, preach the kingdom and at the same time entertain. If you want to encounter God, then sing from your spirit.

Que, When would you say really was the starting point?

Ans, I grew up in a Cherubim and Seraphim church but received the gift to compose and sing in 1992, when I composed my first song “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me” (Isaiah 61)

Que, What are the challenges you are facing?

Ans, My major challenge has been time to combine banking and music.

Que, How does being a banker fit into your dreams of musician?

Ans, Banker, musician….two parallel lines. But the truth is that I am both and one has always helped the other.

Que, What exactly are your dreams- what you are ultimately out to achieve?

Ans, My dream is to be a personality to reckoned with in the world- a distinct chartered musician, who inspire people to fulfil their destiny, acquire knowledge and show case God’s gift.

Que, One would have expected, Music would have been your first choice professional engagement instead of banking- what factor(s) turned the status quo?

Ans, simple analogy: If you are a car mechanic, there is possibility you will know how to drive. So you can do two jobs. An ordinary driver can not do the work of a mechanic. I had wanted to do music full time after I finished my secondary education but God told me I needed to first get myself equiped with good education. Today, as a chartered Accountant, financial analyst and Certified Information System Auditor who is also about to complete CFA level 3 exam, I can do good music. Music is God’s gift and endowment to me.

Ans, S’ohun tuntun (Do something new) is an album which contains 5 tracks, containing prayer songs that will change lives of many people who desire good things from God. The songs were composed under the guidance of the holy spirit. These songs attract God to whoever chant them. Apart from the messages in the tracks, instrumentation, arrangement and rendition of the songs are superb-especially S’ohun tuntun and Abanimule.

Que, How soon is it hitting the streets and how far ave you gone with achieving that?

Ans, The work will be out in November. However, some radio stations like Bond FM, Radio Lagos and Wazobia FM have started airing the song. Other media and other platforms will be utilised as well.

Que, What are your expectations for the effort?

Ans, My main expectation is to have my song played in every home and also get testimony from people about the power of S’ohun tuntun.

Que, Married or planning to marry any time soon?

Ans, I am married with 2 wonderful boys who would soon join in preaching gospel.

Que, Tell us a bit about your love life?
Love life?

Ans, It is Abosede that will answer the question o. lol

Que, Any chance of seeing you leaving banking to face music fully in the nearest future?

Ans, God has control of the chance. I have been struggling with my music ministry although God has prepared me a long time. What about all my certficates and professional expertise? I think I will continue impacting people’s lives through my music and leave “chance” to God.
