“More Govs Are Coming To APC” – New Member Ayade Declares, Names Co Defectors

New defector to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Ben Ayade, the Governor Cross Rivers State has made a fresh revelation.

He says more Governors are on their way to the ruling party.

Ayade defected from the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC earlier today, Thursday, May 20, 2021.

He made the disclosure about more state governors about to defect to the APC during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics monitored this evening by societynow.ng.

He, however, shy away from revealing the identities of the governors planning to defect to the APC
but the new member of the ruling party insisted time will prove him right

The Governor on the last leg of his constitutionally allowed two-term in office insisted he took the decision to leave the party that gave him power at this point because ‘it is the right time to do so.”

Ayade further divulged that he joins the APC with all his Executive cabinet members and some of the members of state house of Assembly as well as other political office holders including those at the national level because “when the governor moves, everybody moves.”
