The fine-looking Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has a new name.
‘’Meet and Greet Governor is what they now call him’’ a source stated.
Societynow.ng learned this appellation has root in the numbers of meetings and courtesy calls the governor entertains as against projects at hand.
‘’This is now especially so now that Deputy Governor Femi Hamzat has taken the heavy works off Sanwo-Olu’s hands as the person to oversee the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure’’ a source stated.
The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure is the ‘’life’’ of the Lagos state government with a larger percent of successive administrations’ performance indices revolving around it.
Hamzat took over the plum job in an intriguing manner.
Less than a week after Sanwo-Olu named his man Aramide Adeyoye as commissioner in charge, the ministry of was handed over to Hamzat to oversee – and Adeyoye demoted to the position of Special Adviser.
The development increases the visibility and influence of the Deputy Governor in the new administration.
