Lagos Guber: Ikuforiji Begs Islamic Clerics To Pray For Him, As Ambode Goes To Pastor Adeboye!

The battle for who succeeds the outgoing governor of Lagos State Babatunde Raji Fashola is becoming more interesting by the day.

Especially among contenders within his All Progressives Party, APC information revealed.

The struggle has adopted religious colouration with aspirants seeking ‘powerful prayers’ from different corners.

Information filtering in has it that, Speaker of the Lagos state House of Assembly and one

of the early indicators of interest in the state’s number one seat, Adeyemi Ikuforiji has taken his case to ‘Islamic clerics’ to ‘ pray for his success’.

The speaker believed to have made private overtures over time went public with his request recently.

At the annual Hijrah ceremony organised by the House, Ikuforiji who had earlier hit town he has God’s approval, specifically told the gathering of Islamic leaders ‘Please pray for me to achieve my desire in order to make Lagos Greater, your prayer is highly needed. This will be appreciated indeed’.

This development comes on the heels of information Akinwunmi Ambode, the speculated preferred candidate of political leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu had taken his ‘case’ to celebrated pastor overseeing vast ministry- The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enoch Adejare Adeboye for ‘prayer ’and ‘blessing’.

According to the information, Ambode perfected the move a couple of weeks back ‘ when Pastor Adeboye came to minister in Alimosho area (of Lagos).

Details of the level of ‘conviction of succeeding’ passed onto the aspirant by the
pastor are however sketchy.

But according to a source ‘Ambode appeared buoyed, by the encounter’.

According to another source ‘naturally these two aren’t the only aspirants seeking to boost their chances with the efficacy of prayers, so are many others’.
