Ladi Adebutu Intensely Lobbying Aremo Segun Osoba For Support In Bid To Become Next Gov Of Ogun State

Ladi Adebutu, the son of billionaire business man Kessinghton Adebutu is intensely seeking for the support of Aremo Olusegun Osoba.

The move is said to be aimed at enhancing his chances at becoming the next governor of Ogun state.

This is despite the fact that they belong to different political party.

Lado as the younger Adebutu is hailed by supporters is a member of the People’s Democratic Party while Osoba currently operates on the platform of All Progressives Congress.

Though APC currently rules the state, Osoba and outgoing governor Ibikunle Amosun are said to be at odds.

The passionate differences between them reportedly forced Osoba, a former governor of Ogun state to adopt another political party in the last general election.

And now that he has retraced his steps back into the APC, sources claim the fight between the duo far from over.

Insiders claim it is this gap Adebutu is trying to exploit by lobbying for the support of the former governor to succeed the incumbent in exchange for political patronage.

Insiders disclose as part of his moves, Adebutu stormed the Ibara GRA, Abeokuta home of the Osoba two days ago.

He sought a meeting with the former governor on way forward a source stated.

“Though am not sure of what transpired inside the house, but gatekeepers at the residence confirmed Adebutu doled out cash gifts” the source further stated.
