Jumoke Okoya Thomas & Tommaso Cavalli Recently the social scene was agog with a welcoming news- Roberto Cavalli Vodka and Wine have officially berthed in Nigeria.

The products named after famed designer Roberto Cavalli and the creation of his son, Tommaso was officially launched on Friday 13 May 2011.

The event held at Oriental Hotel Lekki, Lagos.

The occasion that paraded an exciting guest list announced Bukkie Faniran of Silver Spoon Global as exclusive distributor of the product in Nigeria.

Checks by www.societynowng.com revealed House of Representative Member, Jumoke Okoya Thomas as brain behind the whole deal.

She is said to own Silver Spoon Global with another partner. Faniran, the company’s face at the launch is now identified as an administrator at the place and relative of the House of Representative member.

Insiders revealed the Jumoke was able to pull off the whole deal using influence and position to allay the fears of insecurity doing business in Nigeria by Tommaso and his crew.

The crux of the business arrangement is said to be such that Jumoke, working behind the scene, ensure Silver Spoon creates the perfect environment for Roberto Cavalli Vodka and Wine to flourish.

The success of the move at a time the nation is bedevilled with tales of insecurity rocking the image of the country home and abroad is generally tagged ‘a boost to image and economy’

The arrangement put Nigeria alongside United States of America, England and Switzerland were the products were launched.

Information made available revealed that the Roberto Cavilli Vodka and Wine project started in 2000. The products were released in 2007.

The Vodka is described as the first made in Italy Ultra premium Vodka that is pure, smooth and seductive. The wine is tagged sophisticated and elegant for the discerning.
