Ex ABN Chieftain, Abimbola Davies Sells Off Properties

Ex chieftain of infamous pressure group, Association For Better Nigeria, Chief Abimbola Davies is currently selling off his properties.

And sources close to the Ibadan, Oyo state based gone low profile socialite attribute this development to ‘Economic reasons’

Business is attributed not to be as usual for the colourful character.

Informants claimed that he is discreetly disposing off his properties to maintain a semblance of the lifestyle he formerly enjoyed.

Negotiation is said to be guardedly going on, on one of his houses.

But move to dispose off his cars doesn’t enjoy the same secrecy.

Especially because the ‘merchandise’ are state of the art automobiles- majorly 2011 editions.

Insiders revealed that he reportedly got a shipment of about ten state of art cars from ‘foreign’ business partners- after the successful completion of a ‘mysterious deal’

He took delivery of the cars earlier in the year- Davies allegedly confided in close friends that the automobiles were in exchange for cash payment.

The possession- after a long stretch of rough patch decorated by beating by Akeem Adedibu over loan issue and arrest by the EFCC for N74.5m fraud– boosted his image in town as he cruised here and there.

But the glamour of riding about town in expensive automobile with limited cash appear to have waned.

Davies- leader of one of the pressure groups used to scuttle the presidential ambition of late M.K.O Abiola in 1993 is currently spreading words around that buyers interested in acquiring any of his automobiles get in touch with him.

Some of the cars ‘on sale’ include a Jagua, Benz Jeep and Sienna.
