Isiaka Adeleke’s Brother Demola Dumped As Gov Rauf Aregbesola’s Choice Becomes APC Candidate For Osun West Senatorial Election

Demola, the United States of America returnee seeking to inherit the senatorial seat of his brother, Isiaka Adeleke has lost out.

Mudashir Hussein, the favoured choice of governor of Osun state, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has become the candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the upcoming bye election to fill the vacant Senatorial seat of deceased Adeleke.

This moves confirms societynow’s earlier report Demola does not have the backing of Governor Aregbesola to replace his brother in the senate.

The favoured candidate Hussein is identified as the man who originally stepped down from the Senate to allow the late Adeleke become Senator when he defected from the People’s Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress based on “political arrangements”.

He was until this latest move a commissioner in the cabinet of Governor Aregbesola.
