Governor Rauf Aregbesola Not Backing Isiaka Adeleke’s Younger Brother, Demola To Inherit Senatorial Seat
Emerging details have it, Governor of Osun State Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola is not backing Demola, the younger brother of deceased Senator Isiaka Adeleke to take over his elder brother’s seat.
Demola, a United State of America returnee has kick started campaign to succeed his elder brother as Senator representing Osun West.
And according to his campaign posters and branded vehicles, he wants to achieve this ambition on the platform of the All Progressives Congress.
A development which is casing confusion in the Osun state.

The Adelekes and their supporters are currently up in arms against the leadership of the APC and state government over the sudden death of the Senator.
But it appears Demola, who originally returned from his base in America to mourn his brother has shrugged aside the political grudges in bid to inherit his brother’s political position.
Fresh development however has it that while he appears not to have the full support of his family, Demola also does not enjoy the backing of Governor Rauf Aregbesola.
According to a source “the governor has not anointed him or anybody”.
There are said to be over two aspirants jostling for the same position within the APC .
The election to determine the successor is scheduled for July 8 2017.
