Insiders Reveal South-West Governors Backing Gov Amosun To Work Against Dapo Abiodun, Party’s Guber Candidate In Ogun State!

Governor of Ogun state, Ibikunle Oyelaja Amosun is not all alone in his plot to work against his All Progressives Congress gubernatorial candidate in Ogun state, Dapo Abiodun.

Amosun wants his preferred candidate Adekunle Akinlade to become next governor of Ogun state.

The chain reaction of losing the All Progressives Congress gubernatorial ticket in Ogun state to Amosun’s estranged friend Abiodun forced Akinlade out of the APC.

Akinlade is now the gubernatorial candidate of the Allied People’s Movement in Ogun state.

Governor Amosun is credited with telling supporters – on Monday, December 3, 2018 -that though he intends to work hard for the emergence of President Muhammadu Buhari as the next governor of Ogun state, he has no intention of doing same for party’s gubernatorial candidate Dapo Abiodun.

Amosun reportedly told supporters at the meeting that gubernatorial candidate of the rival party, Akinlade remains his preferred successor and all hands would be on deck to achieve the objective.

Checks by societynow.ng revealed that Governor Amosun’s confidence is buoyed in his mission against the interest of his party by the backing of two south-west governors.

According to a source, one of them just returned to power. And Amosun worked hard to help him achieve his new status.

The added revelation available to societynow.ng has it that the other Governor shared the same sentiment of the need to cage the politician widely seen as the shot caller in the politics of South-West.

The governor is currently having it rough with the House of Assembly in his state societynow.ng learned.

Both governors providing underground support for Amosun do not share the same letters in their first names.

And they assumed power in “unusual circumstances”.

Societynow.ng confirmed that the governors are supporting Amosun in his quest against their party in Ogun state based on the need to protect their interests at the national level.
