Titi Oseni, the Senatorial candidate of the African Democratic Congress in Ogun Central (Ogun state) has a joker up her sleeve.

The joker is to help her blow away Governor Ibikunle Amosun, the main challenger in the race to determine who takes over the senatorial seat of Senator Lanre Tejuosho.

Titi Oseni, Governor Amosun (All Progressives Congress’ candidate) and Bisola Shodipe Clark, wife of Ijaw leader Edwin Clark (People’s Democratic Party’s flag bearer) are the main contenders for the Ogun Central Senatorial Seat.

The investigation conducted by societynow.ng, however, revealed that the electoral fight is really between Governor Amosun and Oseni, a former speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly.

The further investigation conducted also revealed that Oseni appears to be gaining ground Amosun as the February 16, 2019 election date inches nearer.

Oseni is said to be negotiating for support with those all out to take away the political influence of Amosun in Ogun state.

Amosun is at war with members of his All Progressives Congress over who becomes what, especially the next governor of Ogun state.

His attempt to ‘’forcefully’’ have his way has whirled up strong opposition threatening the political relevance of the governor.

Insiders disclosed that Oseni is attempting to surf the opposition against Amosun – in and out of his party- to victory.

“The negotiation is on and a lot of promises and assurances are being thrown around in a bid to stop Amosun from becoming the next Ogun Central senator” societynow.ng learned.

Informants disclosed it is an insight into this development that Tunde Oladunjoye, a member of the caretaker committee in charge of Ogun state chapter of APC is daring Amosun to publish based on the report of the survey carried out by the party on its chances in Ogun Central.
