Inside Special Friendship Between Femi Otedola & Dapo Abiodun

Billionaire Femi Otedola and Governor of Ogun state Dapo Abiodun are good friends.

And those who should know insist that they share a special bond that appears forged out of this world.

Theirs is a relationship that has survived the vilest of gossips.

The high point of the threat to their friendship was when Dapo Abiodun acquired the private residence that Otedola gave up as part of a repayment of debt negotiation with AMCON (Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria).

Abiodun converted the posh residence situated on Olu Holloway, Ikoyi Lagos state into the hospitality place known as 12 Temple.

This development and the fact that Abiodun did a grand opening to commemorate his birthday celebration sent a lot of tongues wagging in high society and for a while tales of discord and enmity were woven about town about the two friends.

But Otedola pulled the rug on all the talks of estrangement with the special shout-out he made to Abiodun when the latter became the governor of Ogun state.

Posting a picture he took with Abiodun in London, Otedola hailed the new governor of Ogun state as “a friend and brother of 25years” and “one of the most respected, honest and most successful entrepreneurs in Nigeria”.

Against expectations of naysayers, societynow.ng gathered that Otedola has continued to say only good things about Dapo Abiodun “Everywhere he goes” – as aptly defined by the slogan of telecommunication company, MTN.

Societynow.ng further gathered that the belief in high society is that this development speaks greatly to the “large heart” of Otedola.
