Sunday Igboho has appointed a spokesperson.

The reigning face of the fight against the scourge of criminals masquerading as Fulani herdsmen as named Olayomi Koiki as his spokesperson.

Igboho – real name Sunday Adeyemo – in naming Koiki as his spokesperson declared that he would no longer be granting interviews and that “Anything Koiki says about me is true because we sleep and wake up together every day.”

Societynow.ng gathered Igboho was forced to tow this path in the face of the backlash of his unguarded utterances against Yoruba leaders including revered monarch Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.

“The backlash was especially massive because a team of elders who adopted Igboho had warned him and told him to stop his unchecked public talks before he runs into major trouble but he failed to heed their advice” societynow.ng learned.

Insiders disclosed that faced with the backlash of Igboho’s misspeak against the Ooni, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Seyi Makinde including threats not to have anything to do with traditional rulers who do not corporate with him, “the elders” had issued Igboho an ultimatum that he either stick to the plan to repackage into a phenomenon to be recognized or they cut ties.

“The fallout of that ultimatum is the emergence of a spokesperson to prevent further embarrassments from unchecked public outbursts” societynow.ng learned.
