Ill Health Tales Swirl Around Defeated Senatorial Candidate, Segun Adewale

Defeated Senatorial candidate, Segun Adewale is said to be ill.

And information filtering in from his Alimosho base indicates the politician widely known as Aeroland has limited access to him to recuperate.

He is said to be undergoing care as an outpatient at a closely guarded health centre.

However those conversant with his ways claim causes of his alleged state of health is more psychological than clinical.

He is said to be engulfed with worries over how to recoup monies spent in his ill fated campaign to become a Senator.

Adewale a People’s Democratic Party chieftain had put all he had on the table to pip eventually winner and All Progressives Congress flagbearer, Solomon Olamilekan to the Senatorial post.

He had gone as far as converting is business place to campaign headquarters, sparing no cost to achieve his aim.

Adewale had caught the attention of national leaders of his party as a result of the intense contest with Olamilekan popularly known as Yayi .

‘It had appeared a win win situation back then, even if he lost – he was sure of an appointment based on commitment he showed and flashes of having what it takes to give the APC a run for their money in Lagos state’ a source analysed.

But the loss of the Presidential election by the PDP changed everything.

And when Yayi was announced winner of the Senatorial election as well it was a big blow.
