High Society Step Out For Timi Alaibe@50!

…Kingibe, Dangote, Oshiomhole, Folawiyo, Asari, Utomi, Obaigbena, others serenade celebrant at Harbour Point

On sunday June 10 2012- celebrated Nigerians with uncommon gait strolled out in their numbers.

The mission very simple- to celebrate an integral part of the high society, Mr Timi Alaibe, the former Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Corporation-(NDDC) and gubernatorial candidate in Bayelsa state.

Timi chose that day to celebrate is 50th.
The event was a two fold episode.

There was a church service and reception.

The Thanksgiving service held at Church of Assumption, Falomo Lagos.

The reception – a cocktail and Dinner- was staged at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Societynowngng.com sources confirmed the attendance at his first major event since he lost his bid to govern Bayelsa state was arresting.

A glimpse of what to expect started from the church where the National Security Adviser Patrick Owoeye Azazzi led the attendance.

Also at the place of worship were the likes of Sam Amuka Pemu, Peremobowei Ebebi, Victor Osibodu and wife, Funke, Kingsley Kuku and Austin Okpara amongst others.

It was a regular church service- with the Thanksgiving perfected in between.

The service lasted from 11a.m to 1.p.m.

The Reception took off at 6.p.m.

And the A-listers kept to time.

Among the attendees were Babagana Kingibe and wife, Ireti, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Adams Oshiomhole, Tunde Folawiyo and wife, Tony Elumelu, Ibrahim Mantu, Asari Dokubo, Boyloaf, Segun Awolowo Jnr, Nduka Obaigbena, Tunde Ayeni,Ben Bruce, Greg Mbadiwe, Daisy Danjuma, Charles Ahize, Alex Otti, Philips Odouza, Deprieye Alamesigha, Joseph Evah, Oronto Douglas, Pat Utomi and others.

It was a grand and classy affair with the trio of Lara George, Basket Mouth and D.J Jimmy Jatt providing jokes and music.

Events manager Funke Obruthe of Saphire events- packaged the events.

And sources claimed with Drinks supplied by Bonix- it was worth the effort.

The ‘birthday boy’ constantly accompanied by one of his ubiquitous three daughters and a son, ceaselessly sparkled with his trademark smile all through the event.
