High Expectation, Deepened Intrigues As Gov Abiodun Prepares To Announce Cabinet

There is increased expectation in the ruling All Progressives Congress and oppositions Ogun state.

This development is attributed to information Governor Dapo Abiodun is about to release the names of his commissioners.

Insiders insist Abiodun will release the names of his cabinet on October 2019.

‘’On or before October but mostly likely the early days of October’’ an insider asserted.

The development is said to have deepened intrigues over who gets what in the list of executive members of Abiodun’s government.

Dapo Abiodun emerged the governor of Ogun – and was sworn in on May 29 – as a result of the working together of a myriad of political forces in and out of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

The different forces that helped Abiodun to power are intensely working to secure favorable slice for the gain of the pie of victory.

The Governor is said to trying hard not to turn friends to enemies in releasing the list of his commissioners.

The members of the opposition parties, especially the Allied People’s Movement, are said to be keenly waiting for the list and exploit it against the fragile alliance that made Abiodun the governor of Ogun state.
