FIRS Boss Fowler Is Star Witness As Allegations Against Vice President Osinbajo Mounts

Emerging details have it that Federal Inland Revenue Service top man Babatunde Fowler is the star witness as the allegations of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo mount.

Osinbajo is currently experiencing torrid period as President Muhammadu Buhari strips away the power and influence of his position.

Amongst other things, Buhari has taken dissolved the economic management team head by the Osinbajo and set up an alternative body and also ordered all agencies under the Vice President to seek approval directly from the office of the President.

Societynow.ng learned that this development emanated from the revelation made by Fowler in his dealing with Osinbajo.

Queried by the Presidency over ‘’heavy shortfall’’ in estimated revenue from the agency he heads, Fowler reportedly explained the fund went to Osinbajo.

The Vice President reportedly explained that the money was used as ‘’special funds’’ during the election.

The President reportedly found the explanation unacceptable and ordered more rigorous interrogation of the issue and related spending that has to do with the office of the Vice President.
