Today is the 16th wedding anniversary of young King Saheed Ademola Elegushi and his first wife Olori Sekinat Aramide Elegushi.

Oba Elegushi who recently got married to a second wife – Hadiza Tako Yakassi – earlier in the month started the day with a touching message to his wife.

The monarch posted on his social media page ‘’ Your love is the strength that drives me to do everything for this family. You are armor that shields me from the tears. Happy 16th (sic) years wedding anniversary’’.

The development sparked off wild celebrations of the marriage between Oba Elegushi and his first wife by Olori Seki’s friends and intense backers.

Societynow.ng learned the move is an open effort to eclipse all the talks of Oba Elegushi taking a new wife and try to position Olori Seki as still very much in charge of the palace as the apple of the king’s eyes.

The uploaded picture parading just Oba Elegushi and Hadiza had emblazoned across it ‘’The King and I’’.

The caption written under the picture that tells a story of exceptional closeness reads ‘’New marriage bonding. Haters will be blocked’’.
