Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, the Lagos Senator seriously campaigning to become the next governor of Ogun appears happy with the support he has amassed so far in the bid to take over from incumbent governor, Ibikunle Amosun.

Yayi as the gubernatorial hopeful is widely hail by friends and supporters doled out bags of rice in Ogun state in celebration of the just held Eid Kabir.

But the “sharing” was restricted to just his support base.

Unlike politicians like Senator Kashamu Buruji who dished out patronage beyond party lines, sources claim Yayi’s bags of Rice were limited to only known supporters.

“He refused to woo new supporters by extending hand of fellowship to them with his gift of bags of rice” a source analyzed the gesture by the gubernatorial aspirant.

Though he does not enjoy the backing of fellow party man and outgoing governor of Ogun state, Ibikunle Amosun – , Yayi is considered one of the front runner aspirants for the number one position in Ogun state based on “popularity”.

The Lagos state Senator looking to make history by trasnforming Ogun state governor is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
