Gov Fayose Goes On The Offensive Again, As Ekiti Deputy Speaker, Adetunji Orisalade Evades 3 am Arrest!

Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has taken time off battle quell allegations of rigging election to become governor.

And he did this to go on the offensive against the All Progressives Congress structure that cornered him with the charges.

According to Information credited to Ekiti Vigilantes, the governor attempted to effect the arrest of Honourable Adetunji Orisalade, Deputy Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly.

Orisalade is a member of the APC and belongs to the original House of Assembly leadership the Governor instigated a parallel body against.

The move to arrest the Deputy Speaker was effected at about 3.a.m.

According to available information an advance party stormed the Ilogbo Ekiti home of the subject and surrounded it.

The move kept occupants inside till 5.am when those that would perfect proper arrest arrived.

But unknown to them, Orisalade acting on a tip off had made other arrangements that helped him evade the attempts at arrest.

Additional information has it that outside of arrest, the ploy targeted impounding the official car of the state lawmaker.

An individual identified as Oloye and described as one of the senior drivers at the Ekiti state house of assemble was said to be on the team. He was supposed to convey Arisalade’s missed official back to Ado Ekiti.

This development is said to be against the backdrop of earlier seizure of the official car of another lawmaker, Biodun Omoleye.

And the arrest of APC loyalists such as Biodun Akin-Fasae, Wole Ariyo, Dr Bayo Orire and others.

Though the Governor’s accusers are silent on the grounds he effected the arrest of the listed individuals, they however claimed the official cars where given to them by previous administration on a repayment agreement.

And that about half of the value already deducted from their salary on monthly arrangement.

The Governor meanwhile is attempting to effect directive he issued for return of all government properties in the possession of the leadership of house he instigated it’s sack in a process that is already subject of court action.
