Governor of Niger state, Babangida Aliyu has shut out his deputy, Musa Ibeto out of all state executive council meetings hence forth.

Ibeto just decamped from the People’s Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress.

Governor Aliyu yesterday, Wednesday 11 2015 prevented Deputy Ibeto from joining in state Executives council meeting with assertions he can’t have some one that would use discussions made to campaign against the government and his party.

He alleged Ibeto called him a thief while campaigning round the state with his new party, APC.

The deputy denied the charge and insisted he only cited ‘injustice’ in PDP as the reason he defected to the APC.

Ironically, Gov Aliyu attempted to cover up shutting out Ibeto from performing his duties by alleging the deputy sought and obtained permission to absent himself.

A move the embattled number two man has since punctured with claims, threats of engagement of state security apparatus was thrown into the play that forced him out.

The decampee deputy governor is said to be exploring legal options at seeking relief, even as his tenure with Gov Aliyu draws to a close.
