“Go After The Killers” – Dapo Abiodun Orders Security Agencies Over Campus Queen’s Death
continues to attract public outcry and threats of protest
Governor of Ogun State has directed ordered security agencies to go after the killers of campus queen, Hapinnes Odeh.
Odeh, recently crowned Miss Mapoly (Moshood Abiola Polytechnic) was abducted while traveling out of the state capital, Abeokuta where are school is located and found dead a couple of days later.
News of her death continues to attract public outcry and threats of protest by students in higher institutions of learning in Ogun state over “issues of insecurity” and Governor Abiodun has weighed in.
“I have directed security agencies to go after perpetrators of the crime” the Governor stated in a condolence post that reads…
“More than tragic is news of the carnage of Happiness Odeh, student of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (Mapoly), Abeokuta by men of the underworld.
This gruesome incident has taken the breath of one of Ogun State’s budding fourth estate professionals. My heart is with the family of late Happiness over the loss.
I have directed security agencies to go after perpetrators of the crime.
As we remain committed to avoiding a recurrence, I reassure the good people of Ogun State of the security of lives and property.”
