Senator Otunba Gbenga Daniel, a close confidant of the late lawmaker, expressed profound grief over her sudden passing, describing her as a younger sister and an unwavering ally.

In a heartfelt tribute, Senator Daniel lamented the loss of an exceptional politician whose life was a beacon of hope and inspiration, particularly for women in Remoland. “She reposed so much confidence in me, and her painful passage could not have come at a more painful moment for me. I seem to have lost a younger sister,” the Senator said.

Honourable Onanuga was known for her vibrant personality and unrelenting “Can Do” spirit, which endeared her to many within and beyond her constituency. Reflecting on her legacy, Senator Daniel remarked that she was not just a politician but one with a remarkable difference, whose presence and impact were felt in every endeavor she undertook.

“Remoland has lost a great inspiration for women’s aspirations. She was always full of life and attracted a great deal of respect. Her absence will be deeply felt, not just in Sagamu but across the entire Remo community,” he noted.
