Femi Gbajabiamila, the federal lawmaker from Lagos state is still holding on tight to a grudge.

He is still smarting from the pains of losing the Speakership of the Federal House of Representatives to Yakubu Dogara.

It was at the 50th birthday celebration of Dogara on Tuesday, December 26 2017.

At an event to mark the august occasion which also doubled as the launch of a book on Dogara titled – “Dogara: A Real Made Flint”, Gbajabiamila who was a guest threw up the issues that resulted in his loss of the speakership.

He openly challenged Aminu Tambuwal, the Governor of Sokoto state and the former speaker of the federal house of representatives to disclose the role he played in Dogara’s emergence as his successor.

Gbajabiamila was instrumental to Tambuwal becoming the Speaker of the House of Representatives in 2011 but got a shocker when the latter supported Dogara against him four years later- though he was the anointed candidate of his party, the All Progressives Congress.

But Gbajabiamila’s move to force a public disclosure on Tambuwal’s role fell short of expectations.

It was met with general laughter as the Sokoto governor sidestepped the challenge in the gale of laughter it evoked from the hall – leaving Gbajabiamila still clutching to his grudge.
