The candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress Femi Gbajabiamila has emerged the Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives.
Gbajabiamila amassed 283 votes while his opponent Mohammed Bago polled 78
Gbajabiamila went into the election conducted by members of the Federal House of Representatives as the more popular candidate.
