Final Result: INEC Says Obaseki Has 84, 336 Votes More Than Ize-Iyamu

Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki has secured re-election according to the final results posted by the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC).

The Governor achieved this feat with 84, 336 votes more than his main rival Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

According to results made known by the Independent Electoral Commission monitored by societynow.ng via a live transmission by channels, Obaseki polled 307 955 votes while Ize-Iyamu amassed 223,619 votes.

Obaseki was the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party while Ize-Iyamu flew the flag of the All Progressives Congress in the election which held yesterday, Saturday, September 19,2020.
