Emerging details reveal that many eyebrows are raised about the recent action of the Senator representing Ogun East, Gbenga Daniel.

The former two-term Governor of Ogun State was among the attendees of the Remo Day Festival, which celebrated his heritage.

However, unlike the events he attended before and after the Friday, December 27, 2024, talk-of-the-town celebration, the Senator did not post pictures from the occasion held at the Sagamu International Stadium.

Checks revealed that aside from a less-than-two-minute video showcasing some moments from the maiden edition of the annual celebration of the spirit of culture, unity, rich heritage, and togetherness of the Remo People, the Senator did not share anything documenting his attendance.

This is considered an anomaly compared to the extensive photo coverage he usually dedicates to his social engagements.

This development has sparked various degrees of speculation, particularly against the backdrop of claims about a battle of innuendos between Senator Daniel and Governor Dapo Abiodun at the event chaired by the Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas.

Although both Senator Daniel and Governor Abiodun belong to the same political party—the All Progressives Congress (APC)—and are from the same senatorial zone, they are enmeshed in a fierce supremacy tussle.

Unlike Daniel and his handlers, Abiodun’s team has released pictures from the Remo Day Festival. Notably, the collage did not feature the estranged Senator.
