Details filtering in have it that people’s person and the power behind TPT (The Preferred Team) Tokunbo Modupe is currently working on plans to become a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He is said to be perfecting moves to actualise the ambition in next year’s general election.

Insiders disclose the holder of the chieftaincy title of Akogun is prosecuting underground campaign to achieve the dream in Ondo state.

“He is working on becoming the Senator representing Ondo North” a source stated simply.

The seat is currently occupied by Senator Ajayi Borofice, who is currently in a fierce battle of influence with governor Rotimi Akeredolu.

Sources confirmed Modupe is a strong investor in the politics of Ondo state.
