Excitement As NAF Base Kaduna Welcomes Public On Open Day

It was a day of awe, inspiration, and national pride as the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) opened its doors to the public at NAF Base Kaduna for a thrilling Open Day event.

Hosted by the Air Officer Commanding Air Training Command, Air Vice Marshal Ahmed Dari, the event welcomed hundreds of excited guests, students, teachers, families, and community leaders, eager to experience the world of air power up close.

“This is your Air Force,” AVM Dari told the crowd. “Today is about showing you what we do, how we do it, and why we remain committed to keeping you safe.”

From documentaries and static displays of several R&D inventions, the buzzed with energy and wonder. The crowd marvelled at what the y saw, while NAF personnel offered hands-on explanations and shared stories of courage and commitment.

“I’ve never seen anything like this,” said Maryam Shehu, a teacher who brought her students along. “Now my kids want to fly jets! It’s been such an eye-opening and inspiring experience.”
