Ex-Gov Osoba Abandons Home Over Fear Of Attack

Information available has it the former governor of Ogun State Chief Olusegun Osoba has abandoned his Abeokuta Ogun State home.

Aremo Osoba’s abode is located inside Government Reserve Area in Abeokuta the capital of Ogun State.

Findings by societynow.ng revealed the prominent politician made the move following the heightened insecurity in the state.

Osoba is said to have received threats of possible attack, with unknown persons said to have written offensive words on the walls of his house.

The situation is said to have forced him to be extra careful and temporarily stayed away from the house for the time being.

Aremo Segun Osoba is widely identified as one the major backers of billionaire oilman turned politician, Dapo Abiodun.

Abiodun is the gubernatorial candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Ogun State.

He reportedly emerged the party’s flagbearer against the wish of incumbent governor Ibikunle Amosun.

The development has resulted in a major crisis for the APC in Ogun state with Amosun instructing his preferred successor Adekunle Akinlade to move to another political party Allied Peoples’ Movement in the bid to make him next governor of Ogun state.
