”Everything About Amosun’s Govt Was Bad’’ Gbenga Daniel Finally Declares

Former governor of Ogun state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has finally given his verdict about the administration of the man who succeeded him in office, Ibikunle Amosun.

‘’For me, everything was bad bad bad’’ Daniel stated emphatically in reaction to a question on his verdict on the government of former governor Amosun during interaction on a radio show.

Daniel was a guest on Aiyekooto, the Yoruba program that features every Tuesday between 5 p.m and 7 p.m on Sweet F.M, the radio station owned by former Senator Gbenga Obadara in Abeokuta, Ogun state.

The former governor was initially diplomatic in his assessment of the administration of Amosun when he stated ‘’there is no government that is perfect or that is bad. Some will tell you the government of Amosun was good despite the demolition of houses and other things recorded’’.

But pressed to give his assessment of the government of his successor, Daniel stated emphatically ‘’For me, everything was bad, bad, bad’’.

Daniel was governor of Ogun state from May 29, 2003, till May 29, 2011, he was succeeded by Amosun who administered the state from May 29, 2011, till May 29, 2019.
