End Of The Road For Minister Adebayo Shittu In Oyo Guber

It is the end of the road for the minister of communications, Adebayo Shittu in the quest to become Governor of Oyo state.

Shittu failed to get clearance from the ruling All Progressives Congress to contest for the gubernatorial ticket of his party.

“He was not cleared to contest Saturday’s gubernatorial primary election” societynow.ng learned.

The investigation by societynow.ng revealed Shittu’s name is conspicuously missing from the list of gubernatorial aspirants released by the party to contest Saturday’s election.

Shittu is currently battling allegation of not observing the mandatory National Youth Service Corps after his university education.

The minister is also enmeshed in an intense political conflict with outgoing Governor Abiola Ajimobi.

Ajimobi is known to be very much against the ambition of Shittu to become next governor of Oyo state.
