Donald Duke, Tafawa Balewa And Others For Nicholas Okoye’s Annabel Leadership Summit, December 11-12, 2012

Annabel Leadership Academy, a brain child of celebrated Nigerian Nicholas Okoye is set to stage a two day summit.

Tagged ” Let’s Focus on Leadership”- it is aimed at ‘tackling the leadership problem’ affecting the nation, according to the organiser.

It is expected to hold on Tuesday, December 11 and Wednesday,December 12,2012.

The venue is listed as Oriental Hotel,Lekki, Lagos.

Divulged a support staff ‘the idea is to provide public with a broader view and understanding of the challenges of Leadership in Nigeria…to provide a platform for like minds to in Nigeria to share experiences, programs and ideas for the way forward and a way out of Nigeria’s Leadership crisis from a Corporate or Political stand point’

It is further revealed that another of the objectives is ‘to generate a network of Nigerians to say ‘No’ to the perceived inefficient and wasteful manner resources are being managed’

According to a statement by the organisers ‘We all agree that there is a Leadership crisis in Nigeria and there is a need to address it by like minded Individuals. We, as Nigerians, have been complaining for too long and this is now the time for ACTION. The challenges in Leadership spread across all levels of Nigerian Life, from the Political Leaders, to our business leaders right down to our community Leaders. We are even having problems with Religious and Family Leadership now with many families and religious organisations feeling the strain of a failed and un focused head of Family or Leader. In our Nation almost all the problems and challenges with our society can be traced to poor Leadership, poor Policy Implementation or weak action when the situation or the solution called for decisive Action. In our Corporations, inept and corrupt leaders are killing the spirits and dreams of our creative people, forcing them into seclusion and denying the Corporation and the Nation the ideas and Solutions of our most innovative minds. This trend must STOP.”
