Details: Why Femi Fani Kayode Has Not Defected To APC

Insiders insist that despite his attempt to water down the stories, Femi Fani Kayode is keen on joining the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).

The latest revelation about this development has it that Fani Kayode is holding out on defecting from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC because of a singular reason.

Babajide Kolade-Otitoju, the man with his finger on happenings within the ruling All Progressive Congress – and national issues – revealed what is keeping Fani Kayode from joining the APC with the post today, Thursday, March 4, 2020 that reads

The only reason Femi Fani-Kayode has not officially joined the All Progressive Congress, APC is because he wants to be officially received into the party by President Muhammadu Buhari, the way Yakubu Dogara, former House of Representatives speaker was received into the party by the president when APC interim chairman, Gov Mai Mala Buni took Dogara before the president.

For now no appointment has been secured with the president over his matter. But his heart is undisputably trained on joining the APC, despite the fact that he had used some of the worst expletives known to the English language to describe the APC supporters and President Muhammadu Buhari.

For many of the APC supporters FFK should be rejected like a bubonic plague, but in receiving, decampees, even from among the worst of the PDP, APC never seeks the ordinary member’s opinion.
