Details available have revealed what former Governor of Imo state Rochas Okorocha promised the king of Iselu in Yewa Noth Local Government Area of Ogun state for the Chieftaincy title about to be bestowed on him.

Okorocha,58, who is the Senator representing Imo West promised to establish a school for the needy and orphans in recognition of the title of Otunba Asoludero of Eselu.

Oba Akintunde Akinyemi, the Oba (King) of Eselu in Ogun West disclosed in a report monitored by societynow.ng on dailypost.ng.

The chieftaincy ceremony that will officially invest the founder of the Rochas Okorocha Foundation with the Otunba Asoludero title is expected to take place in the month of his birth – September. (Okorocha’s birth date is September 22).

According to Oba Akinyemi the development makes Okorocha an adopted son of Eselu, in Ogun state.

The checks by societynow.ng, however, revealed that Oba Akinyemi joined the ranks of those trumpeting the Igbo as next President before the news of the chieftaincy title hit town.
