President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu has publicly appreciated Chairman of Globacom, Mike Adenuga for all he does.

“We are very proud of you and contribution to the Nigerian economy” the President also told the power behind self named, Mike Adenuga Group which also consists of Cobblestone Properties and Estates, a real estate and property development company, Conoil PLC, a petroleum marketing company, and Conoil Producing, a crude exploration and production company, publicly.

President Tinubu openly appreciated the game changer in the nation’s telecommunications industry with, Globacom’s introduction of pay per second billing and alongside other value added services on its launch in 2003, at the palace of the Awujale of Ijebu – Ode, Oba Sikiru Adetona in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun state.

Adenuga made a rare appearance to be a part of the reception for President who was on thank you visit to Ogun state for the significant play in his emergence as the nation’s number one citizen.

It was in Ogun state , at the Governor’s office in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, that the “Emi Lokan” (It is my turn) and “Eleyi” ( ‘This one” reference to Governor Abiodun) slogans that propelled Tinubu’s campaign to victory erupted.

“Mike , thank you my brother for being here.”the President directed at the definition of commerce who is a rarity in public.

“The rest we are going to talk in privacy” Tinubu followed up in a clear validation of close relationship with the major employer of labor fondly hail as the “Guru” by admirers at the event that was held on June 29, 2023.

President Tinubu’s visit was his first time in Ogun state after he was sworn-in on May 29, 2023.

The reception for the President at the palace of the Awuajale also had in attendance National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu; Former Governor, Olusegun Osoba, Senator Gbenga Daniel, Governor Dapo Abiodun, Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, Deputy Governor Noimot Salako – Oyedele, former Governor Olusegun Osoba, Sifax Group Chairman Taiwo Afolabi, House of Representatives member Gboyega Isiaka and others.
