Nigeria Police says the process to determine the circumstances of the death of promising singer Mohbad has been completed.
“The autopsy procedure for Mr. Mohbad has been successfully completed” the Nigeria Police Force revealed on its verified social media handle.
The force, however, noted that “Further information will be provided as soon as the results are available.”
The notice from the Police with the header “Mohbad: Autopsy Update” reads…
“The Nigeria Police Force wishes to inform the public that the autopsy procedure for Mr. Mohbad has been successfully completed. Further information will be provided as soon as the results are available.”
Mohbad real name Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Promise Aloba was exhumed from his burial site in Ikorodu, Lagos earlier today, Thursday, September 21, 2023, in the face of intense interest from all quarters over the cause of his death.
The hastiness of his burial sparked public interest and agitation for the unraveling of the truth and people behind his death.
The singer died on September 12, 2023, in hazy circumstances and was hastily buried barely 24 hours later.
The development sparked off widespread protest that adopted an international slant on the heels of revelations of intense harassment in the last years of his life by people who should have protected him.
