Details: Former Commissioner Dies In Motor Accident

A former commissioner is dead.

Details available to societynow.ng this tragic incident occurred today, Monday, November 23, 2020.

The victim is Dr Zuwaira Hassan, the Head of Department, Community Medicine, College of Medicine, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, Bauchi state.

Zuwaira was a former commissioner for Health in the administration of immediate past Governor of the state Mohammed Abubakar.

According to information monitored by societynow.ng on Punchng.com, the former commissioner died in a fatal crash this morning “at Zaranda village, about 36 kilometers away from Bauchi metropolis.”

He was 46years old.

Added revelation obtained by societynow.ng in the report on Punchng.com revealed that as Muslim his funeral prayer has been scheduled for 1.30 p.m today at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital Central Mosque and the burial fixed for the Muslim burial ground on Gombe road.
