Details: Famous Drummer “Adewole Onilu Ola” Is No More

Famous drummer Adewole Onilu Ola” is no more.

The 97year old entertainer real name Alhaji Abdulrahman Alao Adewole died yesterday night.

He passed on after a brief illness at his residence in Abeokuta, Ogun state.

His son, Kamil Adewole confirmed the development.

The son also disclosed that the deceased will be buried according to Islamic rites near Emmanuel Anglican Primary School, Keesi in Abeokuta today, Wednesday, December 30, 2020.

The burial time is given as 4.00.pm.

Adewole’s claim to fame is been the lead drummer of legendary Apala singer Ayinla Omowura.

Some claimed he was a co-founder of Ayinla’s band.

He, however, kept performing after the death of Omowura in 1980 with stints on different bands until recently.
