Famous drummer Adewole Onilu Ola – real name Adewole Alao – has been laid to rest.

The lead drummer for legendary musician Ayinla Omowura was buried today near Emmanuel Anglican Primary School, Keesi in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun state.

The burial site is close to his residence.

Witnesses at the solemn ceremony which was held barely twenty-four hours after Adewole’s death narrated some of the highlights.

According to the information at hand, the friends and family populated the burial.

Tunde Kelani, the ace cinematographer who just finished a movie on the life of Ayinla Omowura attended the burial but many didn’t know him.

No popular entertainer either in the mold of actor or musician was spotted at the ceremony.

Societynow.ng gathered that the officiating clerics disclosed that a more elaborate gathering is expected at the 8th-day remembrance ceremony.

The Islamic clerics who officiated at the ceremony provided a bit of humor, at different times they vocalized different beats popularized by the late Adewole Onlu Ola over the years.

Amid talks that unlike Dapo Abiodun’s administration that did not send a representative, the previous government of Ibikunle Amosun would have seized the opportunity to identify with the people – one of the council chairmen in Ogu state,Semiu Biola Lawal showed up.
