Details: Dapo Abiodun’s Camp Disputes List Gifting Amosun Group APC Party Chairman In Ogun

There is an emerging reaction to the leaked list naming Derin Adebiyi as the chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State.

Derin Adebiyi is the chairman elected by the APC faction loyal to former Governor Ibikunle Amosun at its October 16 Congress in Ake, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Sources from the camp of Governor Dapo Abiodun have disputed the list SocietyNow.Ng gathered.

The APC faction led by the Governor elected Yemi Sanusi as Chairman of the political party in Ogun state at another congress held at the M.K.O Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta.

“It is not true” a source with a network at the top level of the Governor’s camp stated categorically in a reaction – that themes that of others – to the content of the list of state chairmen leaked Friday night – December 10- reportedly from the National Headquarters of the party.

The list which names Derin Adebiyi as the Ogun state chairman of the APC also has Isaac Omodewu (Oyo), Cornelius Ojelabi (Lagos), Augustine Agada (Benue), Abdullahi Bello (Kogi), Fagbemi S Adeniran (Kwara), Gboyega Famodun (Osun), Ade Adetimehin (Ondo), Emeka Beke (Rivers).

SocietyNow.Ng gathered that other reactions that also question the authenticity of the list from Abiodun’s men have started emerging across platforms – though slightly muted at press time.
