Dancing Senator Ademola Adeleke is finally free from the examination fraud trial hanging on his neck.

The case has been struck out against him thanks to the move by the prosecutor to speed things up.

The Prosecutor Counsel Simon Lough had filed an application withdrawing the charges against  Adeleke in an attempt to ensure the continuation of the trial of the other four accused persons in the trial.

Adeleke’s absence – based on approval by the court for a medical trip abroad – has stalled the case.

But in granting the withdrawal application by the Prosecutor the trial judge discharged the former Senator representing Osun west based on the merit of the plea from his counsel.

Adeleke and four other persons Sikiru Adeleke,  Alhaji Aregbesola Muftau, Gbadamosi Ojo and Dare Samule Olutope were charged with examination practice in a process that fraudulently awarded the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in the last gubernatorial election in Osun state grades that made him eligible to contest.
