The unending political fight between the former Governor of Ogun State Ibikunle Amosun and his successor Dapo Abiodun has been taken to a new terrain.

SocietyNow.Ng gathered that the two chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have shifted from the direct fight over the APC structure in Ogun State to battling over who has better influence with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Amosun who was a presidential aspirant made a very strategic play by switching from contender to backing Asiwaju Tinubu with a step down for the former Governor of Lagos state during the APC presidential primary election crowning the move.

Amosun’s deft political play enamored him to many supporters of Asiwaju Tinubu.

Abiodun – unlike Amosun – passionately supported Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to get the APC presidential ticket to the point of open rebuke from Asiwaju Tinubu.

So it is given that anybody that wins this fight automatically wins on all other fronts, including control of the APC in Ogun State if Tinubu becomes president ” SocietyNow.Ng gathered.
