The stop-work order issued to halt BUA’s operations at Obu mines has been confirmed as “illegal’’.

And put those behind it at risk of jail term.

A Federal High Court, Benin Judicial Division looking into the tussle for ownership of the mines between BUA and Dangote has decided that the move disrespected the court and interferes with the case before it.

The court views the move as contempt, threatened to jail those behind such trespasses.

This revelation comes in the background of the release of pieces of evidence by BUA which indicts Dangote officials of sponsoring orchestrated attacks against it’s operations.

The evidence available to societynow shows correspondence between a top and middle-level Dangote officials and their agents.

The pieces of evidence point to a collaboration of sort between the identified Dangote officials and some mines ministry officials.

BUA in a statement earlier today had disclosed being in possession of the pieces of evidence and intention to release them.

According to the management of BUA, the release of pieces of evidence is meant to show Dangote is the aggressor and not victim in the mines dispute.
