Photos As Amosun, Gbenga Daniel Continue Twinnie Public Appearances

Rather than ebb, the bond of the alliance giving those on the other side relentless headaches appears to be getting stronger.

Senator Gbenga Daniel and former governor Ibikunle Amosun remain “glued together”.

Last year, former Senator Amosun and Daniel – also a former Governor – went public with an extraordinary closeness that is giving political opponents jitters ahead of the race to determine the next Governor of Ogun state in 2027.

Separately , the two chieftains of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) are owners of two out of the four formidable political structures in Ogun state – out of the three in their political parties.

Their combined forces made public at the 80th birthday celebration of Bintu Tinubu at Eko Hotel, Lagos in 2023 have continued to attract untold interest.

They have sustained the interest with several joint public appearances since then.

The latest was made on Friday, April 26, 2024, at the funeral service for Late Deaconess Olori Taiwo Yetunde Gbadebo in Abeokuta, Ogun state.

Among those in attendance at the event were former President Olusegun Obasanjo and his wife, Bola; ex-minister Sharafa Ishola and former chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun state, Joju Fadairo.

Amosun and Daniel’s “togetherness” throughout the event is described as “major highlight” at the ocassion.

Added checks revealed that their joint outings continue to generate speculations regarding the implication of the might of their alliance in determining the political fortune of Ogun state.
