Club Owners At War Over EFCC’s Raid Of Big Spenders

There is a raging war amongst night club operators.

And it is all about the current raid of big spenders by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The raid which landed about twelve night carousers and a couple of luxury cars in the anti-graft agency’s net earned top rate luxury place Club 57 bad publicity.

The arrested individuals were labeled suspected yahoo guys (internet fraudsters ).

Though the management of the nightclub later issued a denial, the initial information on the arrest was that the raid was carried out at the all-night fun place.

The development greatly affected “enterprise” at Club 57 as night revelers with more than enough to tag it “unsafe”.

“It affected all the nightclub business because the spenders naturally stayed off to avoid being labeled suspected fraudsters not to talk of getting arrested, even by mistake” a source stated and continued “but club 57 as the particular place at the center of the mess is the worst hit”.

Fresh revelation available to societynow.ng revealed that the whole episode is now being labeled “a set up”.

A popular nightclub operator with friends in high places is being fingered as the mastermind.

He is alleged to have masterminded the incident by snitching on his competitor.

“It is a big war that this thing has caused” a source stated.

Societynow.ng gathered major players are lining up against one another as friends of the accused and victim take sides.

Insiders however revealed because of how sensitive the industry is the warring parties are taking special care to prosecute the war in a manner that would result in a crippling blow back at present.
