Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has approved the reappointment of Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the Ondo State Government (SSG), months after he stepped down from the position to contest the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primaries.

A statement on Tuesday by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, said the appointment “takes immediate effect.”

Fasoranti had resigned as SSG on March 30, 2026, to contest the APC Senate primaries for Ondo Central Senatorial District.

Announcing his return, the governor’s office said: “Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti brings to the office a wealth of experience in public administration, policy formulation, and governance.”

Governor Aiyedatiwa congratulated the reappointed SSG and urged him to live up to expectations.

The statement said the governor charged Fasoranti “to justify the confidence reposed in him by serving the people of Ondo State with dedication, integrity, and commitment to the Our Ease agenda of his administration.”
